Bolu Bungalow Prices 2026: Your Total Weekend Budget

    10 May 2026· 9 min read·Nesilce Editor

The nightly rate is only one line of the budget. We work out the total for a bungalow weekend in Bolu step by step, with fuel, tolls, Yedigöller entry and food.

    In brief

The total for a bungalow weekend in Bolu is the accommodation quote plus fuel, tolls, park entry and food. With October 2026 tariffs, fuel, tolls, a bridge crossing and one day's Yedigöller entry come to at most about 4,560 TL for a couple driving from Istanbul. Car entry to Yedigöller is 225 TL and covers everyone in the vehicle.

How much does a bungalow weekend in Bolu cost in total?

The total cost of a bungalow weekend in Bolu is room rate + travel (fuel and motorway tolls) + park entry fees + food + activities. Because room rates change with the dates, you get that figure as a quote from the property; most of the other lines, however, can be worked out before you set off using today's official tariffs. For example, a couple driving a petrol car from Istanbul and spending one day in Yedigöller National Park (the "Seven Lakes") will spend at most around 4,560 TL on fuel, tolls, a bridge crossing and park entry; accommodation and food come on top.

This guide does not answer "how much is a night?" but rather "what will the whole weekend cost me?". We explain what drives room rates in detail in our Yedigöller bungalow prices 2026 guide; here we look at how that rate fits into the overall holiday budget. The figures below are valid as of October 2026 and are given with their sources; fuel prices and tolls change during the year.

In short: split the budget into five lines. Three of them (fuel, tolls, park entry) can be calculated today; one (accommodation) is settled by a quote; and one (food and activities) depends entirely on your own plans.

What are the five lines of the budget?

LineHow to calculate itOctober 2026 referenceFlexibility
AccommodationQuote from the property for your dates and group sizeAs quotedLower midweek and with flexible dates
FuelTotal km × consumption × price per litrePetrol ~83.80-84.80 TL/LDepends on car and driving

Park entryVehicle or per-person fee per dayYedigöller car 225 TL/dayWhich days, how many sites
Food and activitiesYour own plan—The most flexible line

If you stay somewhere with breakfast included, the morning meal drops off this table. At Nesilce Tatil Köyü a Turkish village breakfast is included for every guest, and parking and Wi-Fi are free. On a two-night stay that means two breakfasts per person that never become a separate cost.

Travel costs: how much from where?

Travel has two parts: fuel and tolls. The distances below are approximate road distances to Nesilce Tatil Köyü and depend on where you start: Istanbul ~260 km, Ankara ~230 km, Bolu city centre ~55 km. Add another 48 km from the resort to Yedigöller National Park (~96 km return).

    Fuel

According to a Yeni Asır report of 15 October 2026, petrol cost 83.80 TL per litre on Istanbul's European side and 84.80 TL in Ankara; diesel cost 96.60 TL and 97.70 TL respectively. The same report notes that the special consumption tax on petrol rises from 1 November, so check the current price again if you travel in November.

The table below covers the home → resort → home journey plus one Yedigöller day (96 km). Adjust the consumption assumptions to your own car:

    Starting pointTotal distancePetrol, 7 L/100 kmDiesel, 6 L/100 km
    Istanbul~616 km~43 L ≈ 3,600 TL~37 L ≈ 3,570 TL
    Ankara~556 km~39 L ≈ 3,300 TL~33 L ≈ 3,260 TL
    Bolu city centre~206 km~14 L ≈ 1,220 TL~12 L ≈ 1,210 TL

The Bolu row uses Ankara prices. The last stretch of the Yedigöller road is a narrow, winding forest road where consumption can be higher than on a flat motorway, so read the table as a lower limit.

    Motorway and bridges

According to Türkiye İş Bankası's overview of 2026 bridge and motorway tolls, the full Çamlıca–Akıncı trip on the Anatolian Motorway costs 338 TL for a class 1 vehicle. Drivers from Istanbul and from Ankara both leave the motorway at the Yeniçağa junction, so they pay only part of the full trip; treat 338 TL as the upper limit for one direction. If you leave Istanbul's European side over the 15 Temmuz Şehitler or Fatih Sultan Mehmet bridge, the 2026 tariff reported by CNN Türk charges 59 TL per car crossing. The Northern Marmara Motorway and the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge are charged separately.

Drivers from Ankara also have the toll-free D-750; we compare it with the motorway for time and stops in our bungalows near Ankara route guide. Route and traffic details for the Istanbul side are in our bungalows near Istanbul guide.

Park entry: how many times do you pay, and on which days?

Bolu's national parks and nature parks follow the tariff of the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks (DKMP). Under the DKMP 2026 Protected Areas Fee Tariff, Bolu is in the Karadeniz-1 group, and entry fees for Category I sites such as Yedigöller, Abant and Gölcük are:

Type of entry2026 fee (Category I, Bolu)
    On foot, per person75 TL
    Bicycle75 TL
    Motorcycle / ATV150 TL
    Car / pick-up225 TL
    Caravan450 TL
    Minibus675 TL
    Midibus1,125 TL
    Coach2,250 TL

Three rules in the tariff directly affect your budget:

    1. The vehicle fee covers everyone inside. Under the tariff's implementing rules no separate per-person fee is charged for vehicle entry. A car entry costs 225 TL whether it carries one person or a family of four.
    2. The fee is charged once per calendar day. If you leave and come back on the same day, you pay nothing extra as long as you show your receipt. Enter on two different days and you pay twice.
    3. Discounts apply to entry on foot. Visitors under 7 and over 65 entering on foot pay nothing, and students get 50% off with ID.

At Yedigöller vehicle entry is collected through HGS (Türkiye's electronic toll tag). Under the same rules, vehicles without an HGS tag can pay without penalty online by number plate, within 30 days of entry, in the "milli parklar ödeme" (national park payment) section of PTT's HGS page. The full park rules are in our Yedigöller visiting rules guide.

How much should you set aside for food and activities?

We give no figure for this line, because it depends entirely on your plans, from restaurant choices to picnics, and there is no verifiable average. Instead, count which meals actually enter the budget:

    • Breakfasts: with breakfast included, as many breakfasts as nights are already in the price.
    • Lunches: a picnic on park day or a stop on the road. Kültür Portalı mentions restaurant service alongside the accommodation units inside Yedigöller; confirm on the day whether it is open, and bring water and snacks.
    • Dinners: the arrival evening and the evening after the park. If you are curious about Mengen's famous chef tradition, see our Mengen cuisine guide.
    • Activities: ask about prices and conditions for ATV rides, horse riding and guided walks when you book. According to Kültür Portalı, paid sport fishing is allowed in Büyükgöl and Deringöl at Yedigöller between May and September; that is a separate line too.

Three sample budgets: couple, family and group

The examples below are for a two-night weekend with one Yedigöller day. We leave accommodation and food blank on purpose; add the quote you receive from the property and your own food plan to complete the total.

Example 1: a couple from Istanbul

    LineCalculationAmount
    Fuel (petrol, 7 L/100 km)~616 km × 0.07 L × 83.80 TL~3,600 TL
Motorway (return)Part of the full trip, at most 338 TL each wayat most ~676 TL
Bridge (from the European side)15 Temmuz or FSM59 TL
    Yedigöller entry (1 day)Car225 TL
    Subtotalat most ~4,560 TL
Accommodation2 nights, standard bungalow or hotel room, breakfast includedAs quoted
Lunches and dinners2 peopleYour own plan

Example 2: a family of four from Ankara

    LineCalculationAmount
    Fuel (diesel, 6 L/100 km)~556 km × 0.06 L × 97.70 TL~3,260 TL
Motorway (return)Akıncı–Yeniçağa section; toll-free D-750 as an alternativeDepends on route
Yedigöller entry (2 days)2 × 225 TL; the vehicle fee covers everyone450 TL
    Subtotal (excluding tolls)~3,710 TL
Accommodation2 nights, two-storey bungalow (4-6 people), breakfast includedAs quoted
Food and activities4 peopleYour own plan

Entering Yedigöller on two separate days means paying the entry fee twice. Planning one long park day and spending the second day around Mengen reduces both this line and your fuel.

Example 3: a group of eight friends from Istanbul

For large groups the biggest decision is how many vehicles to bring:

OptionYedigöller entry (1 day)Fuel and tolls
    Two cars2 × 225 = 450 TLRoughly twice the travel cost in Example 1
    Three cars3 × 225 = 675 TLRoughly three times
One minibus675 TLDepends on the hire terms

Two cars pay less than a minibus at the park gate; three cars pay the same entry as a minibus but three times the fuel and tolls. For eight people you could consider two two-storey bungalows or a mix of bungalows and hotel rooms. For larger groups it makes more sense to ask for a group quote rather than room-by-room prices; Nesilce can host groups of more than 60 people (groups and events page, group line +90 538 690 37 51).

Where does the room rate fit into this picture?

Accommodation is the line we left blank in the examples, and in most plans it is the largest. It is also where the decisions that shape the total are made:

    1. Day of the week. Check-in from Sunday to Thursday gives more flexible availability than Friday and Saturday nights.
    2. Number of nights. Two nights spread the travel cost over two days; a one-night trip loads the same fuel and tolls onto a single day.
    3. Room type and group size. For four people, ask for quotes for one two-storey bungalow and for two separate units at the same time.
    4. What is included. Whether breakfast and parking are included changes the total when you compare two quotes.

When you ask for a quote, send your check-in and check-out dates (at Nesilce check-in is 14:00 and check-out 12:00), the number of adults, children's ages and whether you are bringing a pet, all in one message. Differences in payment, service fees and cancellation are covered in our Airbnb vs Hotels.com vs direct booking comparison.

Work out your own budget in five steps

    1. Find the total distance from home to the resort and from the resort to the park (distance to the resort + 96 km).
    2. Multiply your car's average consumption by the current price per litre.
    3. Add the motorway sections and bridges you will use.
    4. Note how many days, and with how many vehicles, you will enter which protected area (Yedigöller car 225 TL/day).
    5. Add the accommodation quote from the property and your allowance for food and activities.

    Frequently asked questions

How much are fuel and tolls from Istanbul to Mengen in Bolu?

At October 2026 prices, a petrol car using 7 L/100 km needs about 3,600 TL of fuel for the return trip from Istanbul to the resort plus one Yedigöller day (about 616 km). The full Çamlıca–Akıncı trip on the Anatolian Motorway costs 338 TL; because you leave at Yeniçağa, you pay less than that each way. Drivers from the European side add a 59 TL bridge toll.

If we visit Yedigöller on two different days, do we pay the entry fee twice?

Yes. Under the DKMP implementing rules the entry fee is charged once per calendar day. If you leave and come back on the same day you pay nothing extra on showing your receipt, but if you return the next day the 225 TL car fee is charged again.

For a large group, is a minibus or several cars cheaper?

At the park gate a minibus pays 675 TL and a car 225 TL. Two cars (450 TL) are cheaper than a minibus; three cars pay the same as a minibus but use three times the fuel and tolls. Decide based on the minibus hire and fuel terms.

How do I pay the Yedigöller entry fee if my car has no HGS tag?

Vehicle entry at Yedigöller is collected through HGS. Under the DKMP rules, vehicles without an HGS tag can pay without penalty online by number plate, within 30 days of entry, in the 'milli parklar ödeme' (national park payment) section of PTT's HGS customer page.

Do foreign visitors pay a different fee at Yedigöller?

Yes. Under DKMP's 2026 rules, the fee for visitors who are not Turkish citizens is set per site at between 5 and 10 times the domestic per-person fee. When they enter by vehicle, this fee is charged for each foreign visitor in the vehicle instead of the vehicle fee.

Which parts of a Bolu bungalow budget are fixed and which are flexible?

Park entry fees are fixed by the official tariff; fuel and tolls are calculated from your route and car. The most flexible lines are accommodation (day of the week, number of nights, room type) and food and activities. At a property with breakfast included, the morning meal disappears from the budget entirely.
